Affordable and accommodating; I booked again in 2023. Two tram stops are close to wherever you need to go. They had my room ready before the official check‑in time (I was just going to drop my bags and explore the city) and gave me an arrival time, which probably helped with the room’s readiness. There is a lot of noise, which is expected given the nearby bars and restaurants; closing both sets of windows dampens or even eliminates the sound.

Excellent value for money. The central location in downtown Melbourne is perfect for quick access to MCG and Rod Laver Arena. The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, and the shared bathrooms were very clean. No complaints.
