The rooms are tastefully furnished and very cozy, especially the veranda! Magda made us feel comfortable right away and gave us plenty of tips on nearby spots, and she knows a lot about local festivals and celebrations. The property sits in a strategic spot: from Cafaggio you reach the sea in 15 minutes and Campiglia Marittima (worth a visit) in 5 minutes. Our PT room is definitely well furnished but a bit dark for my taste. I would have liked a dish soap in the kitchen with a dish rack or a roll of scotch paper.

“L'arte del kintsugi .”

The Pievano isn’t just a beautiful B&B; it shows how love, passion, and care for our past and history become an act of love. The farmhouse, restored while respecting its origins, was furnished with antique pieces, brocantes, and discarded items given new life by the owners’ skillful hands. The décor features lace curtains, embroidery, grandma’s sheets, embroidered shower curtains, vintage lamps, and a stone basin with stylish tap fittings, all complemented by clean, fragrant linens that make the rooms dreamy. The bed is super comfortable, and the room has air conditioning and Wi‑Fi. The common area, tastefully furnished with warm colors and antique furniture, creates a welcoming, intimate atmosphere, as does the veranda where breakfast is served. Extra credit goes to breakfast, served on decorated plates with fine flowers, antique glass cups, vintage‑style coffee cups, homemade cakes and pies made with natural ingredients by owner Magda, km‑zero preserves, kefir, yogurt, local pastries, linden‑flavored water, fruit juices, and more. The garden is set up for outdoor relaxation. The Pievano is in a great spot to reach the two gems Campiglia Marittima and Suvereto, just a few kilometers from the Calidario thermal baths and 15 minutes from the sea, Parco Rimigliano, and Golfo Baratti. The garden was a little sparse, probably due to the scorching heat these weeks.
