The room itself was pleasant and comfortable, which was a nice start. However, we kept having to hunt down staff whenever we wanted anything from the bar, and the POS machine was dead, forcing us to drive about 20 minutes to the next town just to get cash. The pool was tiny and constantly crowded with locals, so there was hardly any room to swim.

There’s plenty to keep you busy – a pool, table‑tennis, billiards and darts – so the place can fill a day. Unfortunately the upkeep is slipping; after four visits the condition keeps getting worse, with tables left untouched all day, a yellow‑stained pool wall, and broken chairs sitting around. It feels more like a neglected community centre than a proper resort.

“Very spacious”

The vibe was laid‑back and the pool was solid, with plenty of space for three separate groups to spread out. We appreciated being able to bring our own food, fire up the barbecue, and stock up in the large fridges, plus the games room added a fun touch. Only downside was the jacuzzi being out of order, but otherwise it was a comfortable stay.

The rooms were spotless, which made a good first impression. On the downside, breakfast wasn’t served at all and the staff only spoke Bulgarian, so communication was a challenge for non‑speakers. It felt a bit isolated if you’re looking for English‑friendly service.
