The stay was pleasant, the staff were friendly, the warm pool and hot tub were nice, we received SMORS and a welcome drink, we roasted over the fire, and overall it was great. The only downside was the mattress.

The location and price were spot on. The only issue was that the room lighting was a bit dim for my taste.

The pool and hot tub were fine. I had trouble with the TV; it was the only place in the US where you couldn’t get Fox News, and over 50% of the country is conservative so we don’t like being excluded.

The rooms were cute and the spot was great, yet ours sat right behind the restaurant and laundry area, so mornings were noisy and the door faced a mess of mops, crates, boxes, grease, and trash cans—quite unappealing, and the front desk check‑in was painfully slow.
