The staff contact was good; there was a fan. The room had a faint odor, no way to get fresh air, it felt more like a storage room than a room, and the door to the small WC opened only with great effort.

The spot is great, just a block below the castle. Getting there is a bit of a climb with steep stairs or slopes, but down a few streets there's a Pingo Doce supermarket that has an elevator dropping you about 30 m up and saves you the whole trek.

The location is top, the staff are super friendly and helpful. The original room was extremely small, no windows, and two people barely fit – air circulation was tough. Luckily we got to change rooms, but the bathroom was not clean.

The place has a good location, plenty of room in the room and a veranda. The downside was a window that opened from another room onto ours, which really compromised privacy. The veranda is convenient, but it's tucked between four very high walls and you constantly smell sewage.
