“Sitio bonito y bien ubicado pero incómodo”
I liked the place, but the rooms face a courtyard that plays loud music from dawn until dusk, and during a noisy event you could hear everything in the room; plus the pool water was pretty dirty.
“AVOID AT ALL COSTS”
The location was good. But if you can’t sleep at a hotel, why bother staying there? The lobby, bar, and restaurant music were so loud and played so late that we struggled to sleep. I complained, but they ignored my message. I’m disputing the entire stay and charge with my credit‑card company.

The experience was excellent. The hotel stands out for its impeccable cleanliness and the excellent service from all staff, always friendly, attentive, and ready to help. The pool is very pleasant and perfect for relaxing. The rooms are comfortable, and especially the beds are super comfy and allow for a very good rest. Everything feels clean, cared for, and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it 100 %. Everything was perfect.

The location is truly wonderful and the hotel’s position is perfect for walking around Cartagena. The building looks nice and at first glance the property seems to have all the features of a special place. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to expectations, especially considering the hotel is advertised as a 5‑star on Booking. In our view, the property is more like a guesthouse or bed‑and‑breakfast above a restaurant than a 5‑star hotel. Many of the services and standards one would expect from a 5‑star are missing. The rooms are very dark, and ours faced the inner courtyard where the restaurant is located. Every evening there was music until 23:30 or later, and on one night the music went on until 1 a.m. for an event we weren’t told about at check‑in. It was very hard to rest: the music was present most of the day and louder at night. This was especially problematic for a place that should offer comfort and tranquility. The rooms also needed better maintenance. In our case, the shower box leaked and the handle was broken. Breakfast is served by the restaurant on the ground floor and is not a buffet. The choices are very limited: the menu offers only four dishes, mainly egg‑based, with no simple alternatives like bread and jam or yogurt. Anything ordered outside the menu is charged immediately: even a bottle of water at breakfast was not included. This also felt off for a 5‑star hotel. The pool is not very pleasant either: it borders the staff changing room and the restaurant bathrooms, with a constant flow of people. It doesn’t give the sense of privacy and relaxation one would expect from a pool at a hotel of this category.
