The host was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The only drawback was the low light shade that requires caution if you’re tall.

The place is stunning, surrounded by forests yet close to the highway, making it perfect for a nature stay or a stopover during a trip. Breakfast is excellent, with homemade products served in a charming porch. The bedding is very comfortable and the night is completely silent, guaranteeing a great sleep. Finally, the welcome is extremely kind. Everything was perfect.

It was very nice and tidy. Breakfast wasn’t available until 9:00 am, which was too late for us; 7:30 to 8:00 am would have been handy. There was no suggestion of an alternative, which was disappointing. A heatwave made it useful to have a small fridge in the room for cold water. The host could have offered something (for a fee) to guests. When you offer a pool and guests stay there for a few hours, it’s nice to have a cool drink… In this region it cools well at night, but the daytime heat made an air‑conditioner in the rooms almost a necessity for a comfortable stay.
