The night shift staff were friendly and approachable, but we were charged 200 PESOS for a towel that had no lipstick on it—an absurd fee for just two rooms.

I booked a RedDoorz near Dadiangas Heights expecting nice rooms with a view, but instead received a different hostel with horrendous rooms and a bad location, so the site misled me and this feels like estafa. The rooms were dirty and smelled like a canal, the staff were not accommodating, and the bedding, pillows and blankets were thin, old, and looked like rags.
