“Aizbraucām max. ātri prom pat nenakšņojot!!! Ģimene (vecāki+vecvecāki) ar zīdaini.”
I was in a tiny French village hoping to enjoy some local wines, but the staff seemed intent on making money off the customers. They cited a strange policy that said you couldn't drink your own wine on the premises, and when we tried to order glasses— even for an extra fee— they wouldn’t offer any. The menu was a single wine choice and an oddly French cocktail selection that made it feel like there was nothing to buy. No other nearby hotel had such a bizarre attitude toward guests. The atmosphere was chaotic, very untidy, and the rooms lacked a trash bin or a place to dispose of used diapers. The rooms smelled unpleasant, looked old, and were dark. There was no refrigerator or glasses. My family, with a small child, packed up and left, booking another place and losing the full amount we’d paid. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had, and I don’t understand why this place gets a rating of 9+ when many people seem to misunderstand what good hospitality really means.
