I liked my stay at The Rarotongan Resort overall; the decor feels dated but the rooms are clean and functional, and the staff were all lovely. The facilities and activities were great for young kids, though the food often felt repetitive.

The snorkeling right outside the marine reserve, with turtles and reef, was fantastic, and the room‑booking convenience was great; the buffet breakfast was included, yet the property feels old, the food is just okay, and some international staff made mistakes with my orders.
