“OK”
The room had a small kitchen countertop and a handy hot‑and‑cold water dispenser in the hallway, so I could whip up simple instant meals and clean up easily. The staff were very polite, even when I called late at night. The location was convenient, with banks, restaurants, clinics, convenience stores and shopping malls all within a 3‑10 minute drive, and there were plenty of nearby attractions. The room did not come with disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers. That wasn’t a problem because we brought our own, but when we asked at check‑out the staff said toothbrushes and toothpaste *were* actually provided—slippers weren’t—and that guests had to specifically request them. They said this was a management policy. I was speechless. Can you believe management would mandate a policy of not proactively providing these items, requiring guests to ask for them instead?? What else might the hotel be withholding unless a guest specifically inquires about it??
