“Simple accommodations but price is right, good location, and outstanding restaurant.”

We stayed at the cheapest place we ever booked, so we didn’t expect much. The room was just okay at best: three single beds and barely any furniture. The bathroom was fine and the shower worked well. A small fridge was a nice touch. The room opened onto a lovely backyard with fruit trees—yummy plums—and a vegetable garden. We set up a small table and chair there to eat our leftovers from lunch. A nice path leads from the property down to the lake. Speaking of leftovers from lunch… the real highlight was the extraordinary restaurant, also called Zvono. We had smoked trout and then a huge appetizer platter of marinated and smoked carp. The vibe was funky and really cool. The room was dark, and the bathroom even darker; more lights are needed. The bathroom mirror is set too high, well above my wife’s height. The room is quite simple but inexpensive. Fairly, when we were there everything was smoky and hazy because of nearby forest fires, and the lake’s water level was shockingly low. I mention this because it may have affected our overall opinion of the stay.
