I enjoyed my time at Kim Minh House, a family‑run guest house where the owners were genuinely kind and eager to help. I first booked a street‑facing room, but it was noisy all day and night, and tiny ants crawled along the wall right next to the bed. After requesting a change, I was upgraded to a two‑bedroom room away from the street, which was spacious, quiet, and had a comfortable bed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to every city attraction. The only downside was the lack of a lift; the owner helped me carry my luggage up the narrow stairs to the second floor. Also, the owners sometimes entered rooms without prior notice, presumably to service them.
