The room faced the beach and had a great location. The pool was extremely dirty, the hotel was far from everything, and the wait to prepare à la carte dishes was so long that I had to cancel my order.

“Mala atención”

I could only see the entrance, and it looked pretty. I booked through Booking as usual, having never had a problem before. I was expecting a relaxing getaway, but the hotel was awful. The moment I entered, I could hear a loud speaker, and then they told me my reservation hadn’t been made. I had requested 3 days and 2 nights, but they only offered me 1 night and said I could spend the other night at another hotel. I don’t know what happened. I kept asking, and they insisted I couldn’t complete my reservation, yet I had a clear Booking confirmation. Imagine arriving from far away for a short relaxing vacation and being told you didn’t book. My stay was horrible, especially the reservations guy seemed uninterested in my situation and just said he couldn’t help. It’s easy to say that, but I’m not telling people not to go, this was my experience. I have about 50 Booking reservations and never faced this issue. The mototaxi drivers also mentioned that this place often does such things or overbooks, or sees you alone and prefers to give rooms to a couple to make more money on food and activities. In the end I booked through DIEM, and it was a nice, peaceful experience, unlike the refuge.

“Grata experiencia”

The atmosphere was very cozy, and one of the waiters was very pleasant and courteous. It was a nice experience. The menu lacked variety.
