The staff greeted me warmly upon arrival, and both breakfast and service were very good. Nothing was missing; everything matched my expectations.
A characterful village pub with friendly staff. The room was clean, well‑furnished, and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. I could hear the pub downstairs from my room, but it quieted down after the last orders.
The food quality was excellent.
The dinner booking system caused a somewhat long wait for food, but otherwise everything was excellent.
I spent three nights at the Masons Arms for a metal‑detecting weekend, and the staff were very friendly while the food was excellent; the pub feels cosy in a lovely area, and I’d definitely return.
