The location and the authentic feel of the beautiful castle are great, it’s an ideal stopover spot, and there’s plenty of parking on the premises; the hospitality and the aperitif on the terrace were also appreciated.
“Quiet sophistication”
The chateau has been beautifully renovated, still keeping its original family feel and a welcoming atmosphere; dinner was excellent and we quickly struck up conversations with other guests, and it’s handy as a layover when heading north or south, and if you stay for a few days the pool and grounds are definitely worth spending time in.

“Schönes Haus von außen, aber sehr schmuddelig und teils auchnicht sauber mit katastrophalen Nassräumen”
The exterior view is nice, but the place is very dirty and shabby, even the tiny bathroom has an ancient fabric carpet, which is simply unhygienic and unclean.

The value is good and the chateau is beautifully furnished, but often the beef was tough and inedible, while my wife’s salmon was cooked beautifully.
