“EXPERIENCIA INCREÍBLE”

The lake views were amazing, staying in a riokan felt authentic, the dinner and breakfast were very good, the staff were super kind, and the place had that old‑world charm. The staff were genuine Japanese and everything was great. The bathrooms had free tattoo services, and although it’s remote they provide a transfer from the train station. Feeling like you’re in a real riokan was incredible. No issues to mention.

Everything was excellent: the traditional food was superb, the staff were very friendly, the large rooms had a view of the lake, and the onsen was beautiful.

“Wonderful lakeside onsen hotel”

The onsen area was wonderful, especially because it stayed open from morning until late evening. The juice service was good, and the breakfast buffet alone made the stay worthwhile. The room with a lakeside view was also worth the stay—be sure to request it! Free coffee, hot towels, and sweets were available in the lobby café from 3‑6 p.m., a nice touch. The kimonos for guests were great, and I stayed in a family room with floor futons, a floor table, and cushions. The hot water kettle in the room was a wonderful addition. The room could use a bit more cleaning and maintenance, with some broken spots needing repair, and the lighting was harsh and glaring instead of soothing or relaxing.

There’s a rest area at the entrance of the large bath with free drinks, which I enjoyed very much.
