“Permanente Geräuschbelästigung während der gesamten Nacht”

From the moment we checked in, the hotel felt unwelcoming and somewhat abandoned; a quiet night was impossible—even though the room faced the back—because a ventilation duct leading to the courtyard, which ran along part of the rooms, stayed on until about 7:30 am, producing a constant loud, unpleasant roar. Restful sleep was therefore out of reach. We later learned the hotel would close on 15 September 2026—a decision that surely has reasons. By then the whole operation seemed to be run by a single staff member, who, despite the difficult circumstances, did her best.

Even though the kitchen suffered a water damage, everything still ran smoothly. The accommodation was lovely, the location was good, and the breakfast was nice.

“Top Lage. Saubere Unterkunft.”

The breakfast was excellent and very affordable, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed because of water damage, leaving only a kebab shop or ALDI in town for dinner on Mondays and Tuesdays.

“Think it will be more hospitable when kitchen and restaurant are open?”

I’m sorry for the mix‑up with the wrong hotel review! The hotel itself was nice, but it had experienced a kitchen flood, so it felt somewhat half‑open. It was very quiet and there were no staff in sight, which made us wonder if we were alone—until breakfast when everyone gathered in the dining area. I had no idea the road was closed and the hotel had flooded in the kitchen, so it seemed like the whole town was empty.
