The property is accessible to shopping centres and the train station. The staff are friendly. The air conditioning is good. Fair sanitation; found some stains on blankets and pillows, slippers have a smell. We couldn’t find anyone at reception during our check‑out. We had to call the owners’ number, which took some time to answer.

“Would not going back to this place.”

The price is unbeatable, but I won’t return despite the low cost. They let me negotiate a free late check‑out after a mistake. The place was filthy and the building felt unsafe at 1–2 am, with people hustling around. I felt exposed, as anyone could enter my room. I had told the host we’d arrive at 1 am and expected two twin beds, yet I was handed one small bed in a tiny room even though I paid a “late check‑in fee.” The caretaker blamed my late arrival, but I showed him the host’s confirmation and still argued that no one should be checked in at 1 am.

“Overpriced and dirty. It cost me £220~ for a 6 night stay, there are cheaper options for far better.”

The air‑conditioned room is fine and the spot is good for catching the star ferry to the train station. The room was very dirty, with cockroaches and a moldy shower; the toilet sits in the shower, so it’s always wet. The building reeks of smoke, the lift is sluggish and requires a queue, and people on the ground floor and street keep trying to sell me other accommodation in the same building. You can’t move around without being stopped or called out.
