The spot near the highway and the edge of Selestad is nice, and you’re right in the Alsace villages. After checking in, the bed in the first room was dirty (full of hair on the mattress), but the second room we got was clean. The air‑conditioner won’t go below 21 °C and it was very hot. The staff were not proactive in finding a solution; a different room was offered, but nowhere could the air‑conditioner be set lower than 21 °C.

The room was good, but the information about the hotel’s address was wrong. All emails listed the address as “Rue du Golf,” which the GPS of a four‑year‑old Volvo XC40 in Selestat does not recognize. After arriving in the city center, after a 400 km drive, we had to search for the correct address, “Carrefour du Haut‑Königsbourg.” Zero points for that!

“Mooi hotel door een doorreis”

A nice hotel for a layover, close to the highway (no noise issues). Small but pleasant pool. From the pool and the room you get a great view of the Alsace hills (the other side looks out onto the parking lot). In the evening we ate wonderfully in the restaurant. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection. The toilet in the first room we received was not clean, which was disappointing after a long journey, but we quickly got a new room.
