My room was dirty, the building’s exterior looked like it hadn’t been swept in at least a week, and there was no staff on site late at night to call if something went wrong; the morning staff were horrible. The lack of cleanliness, lack of accountability, and lack of resources to fix a problem were all disappointing.

The room sat right next to the park we were visiting, which was a total plus, and the on‑site restaurant was very convenient, not far from anything else we needed. The only downside was that the pop‑up machines were empty.

They did not honor my confirmation number, so I had to go to a different hotel via Super.com.

The first room had a strong smoke smell, so we were moved; the bathroom door wouldn’t close because it was warped, but the bed was comfortable. I’d normally pay over $100 per night for a nice room.

The hotel was very nice and clean, right next to Kings Dominion, sharing the same parking lot; after leaving the park you drive straight back into the hotel lot. The staff were great, especially Ty at the front desk, and there were no complaints about our stay at all. If you’re visiting the park, this is excellent value.
