The location and price were fine, and the front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The lady informed me at check‑in that using a third‑party check‑in could cause me to lose my room because they can’t make adjustments, so I paid cash as advised, and she didn’t mind refunding my card to allow cash payment—great service. I didn’t like the motel at all; it had good reviews, so I expected something nicer. It felt bad and grungy, located beside a gas station. The room was very small, had a few dog hairs on the comforter, and smelled of sewage. When I talked to other guests, they also mentioned the sewage smell, so I think it was an issue with the area we were staying in, not just Motel 6. I won’t stay here again; I’d pay an extra $20 and go elsewhere.
