Even though it’s a bit far from Sanur’s center, the spot kept us quiet and peaceful; the staff were always friendly, and we met what we think was the owner, who was very pleasant. We asked for breakfast at 7 am every day because we had to leave early for diving, and it was always on our terrace table right on time—generous and tasty. The facilities look gorgeous, a true tropical vibe as the name suggests. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked spotless and the surroundings were nice. Our room was isolated from the others, right at the entrance, giving us plenty of privacy. We also liked that it’s close to the beach where the famous kite‑flying happens, so we went down one afternoon to watch: Padang Galak Beach. Nearby is a restaurant called Margot with great food, a spectacular and calm setting, and the Spanish bakery‑pastry shop Xavi with a lovely, divine concept. The only downside was that getting to the center was tricky because Grabs or Gojek didn’t always pick us up or were delayed. We asked about renting a scooter, but it was only for the whole day and didn’t feel worth it since we only needed it in the evenings.
Because we had to leave early for the ferry to Nusa Penida, they left breakfast in the room, but we couldn’t make coffee because the kettle had a strong unpleasant smell, which was a shame; otherwise, everything was fine.
The place was really, really beautiful with a fun, large pool and a kind, charming staff. We stayed one night before heading to Nusa for adults and enjoyed it a lot. The street itself is less lively and there aren’t many restaurants in the area; overall, Sanur is a quieter spot, but the location is perfect and a great spot to move to other places from the airport.
“Un havre de paix”
The staff were incredibly kind, the pool was great, breakfast was good, and the room was fine—everything. The only issue was the distance from the city center on foot, but that wasn’t a problem thanks to Gojek.
“Very nice place!”
Cute, clean, with a crystal‑clear warm pool. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely, and there was free tea and proper coffee whenever we wanted. The only drawback was that it’s a bit far from many restaurants.
