Quartos Lazarino

The town is charming and the apartment we received was close to the sea and clean, but it was hard to find. The host couldn't be reached by phone and didn't speak English, which made things very difficult. She eventually said there was a problem with the room we booked and offered us a “better” one, which turned out to be a ground‑floor apartment that was extremely noisy and felt unsafe. I had booked a room with two beds for myself and my son, but only one bed was provided, so I had to sleep on the sofa, which was uncomfortable. It was also the height of summer and there was no fan—something to keep in mind.

The location was good and the owner responded quickly, but there were no towels available.

The host was super friendly and easy to deal with. I could enter the room as early as the morning. Everything was clean, and the location was great. The private bathroom was good. The balcony was shared, which wasn't obvious from the listing; when I opened the door a guest was sitting there. The mattress was very soft.

The apartment is in a good spot near the beach promenade. The room is quite dark because the terrace door and the bathroom window open onto a small courtyard about 3 × 2 m that is surrounded by high walls. As a result, ventilation is limited and the air feels a bit stuffy.
