Palighar feels like quiet luxury for a traveler, not a tourist; Sanjay’s food stays with you forever, and I always looked forward to each meal. A stroll through nearby villages, watching the hills, playing with the friendly dog Brownie, lying on the hammock, and doing nothing else are all part of the experience.

I loved my stay at Palighar Stay in Kalimpong; the food was authentic, fresh, and honestly delicious. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by such a calm, peaceful atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The hosts Kabir and Ahana were incredibly warm and friendly, and chatting with them was a highlight of the stay. I would absolutely recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet, genuine farmstay experience.

It's a beautiful place full of love, warmth, and excellent food. Highly recommended if you want to stay away from the hustle bustle and just have some peaceful time with your books and the birds around
