The hotel looked modern, clean, and proper, and its location was just a few meters from the dome. However, the English communication with the front desk staff was not very good. We had contacted the hotel before arrival to see if they could receive our luggage from another hotel and send it to a different hotel upon departure. They said there was no problem, but when we tried to send it, the front desk staff told us it wasn’t possible and that we had to do it elsewhere.

The best thing was the location! We walked to the Peace Park, which is literally on the opposite corner, so it’s very convenient and quick to get there. Also, the tram that goes to the Shinkansen station passes right in front.

I found the location unbeatable, right near memorial sites and a museum, and the shuttle from the airport was a breeze because the bus terminal sits in the same building as the hotel. The hotel sits literally opposite a 7‑Eleven, a shopping mall, and the city center is just a 5‑minute walk. It’s quiet and peaceful, with a good variety of breakfast options, all in Japanese style, which is a bonus for foreign tourists. In the restaurant, I noticed only Japanese, Korean, and Chinese guests besides us. The staff were excellent, helpful, and we used a translator app to communicate smoothly. On my departure day, I could leave my luggage in a secure room by the reception. The room came with towels, toiletries, a USB outlet, slippers, and pajamas. If I ever come back, I’ll definitely stay here again. The only thing that slipped my mind was that the walk from the station to the hotel is hard to find; you can always step outside and use the regular entrance.
