The hotel is close to Stratford upon Avon and the great golf course, but the pump in the bathroom is too loud.

I liked the location, but the rooms above were noisy and the soundproofing was bad. The breakfast changed from freshly made on day one to a buffet with food that had sat for a while on day two, and the price felt high for the room quality and food.

The spot was nice and the room was huge, yet it could have been cleaner and we had to pull toilet roll from downstairs because our room had very little. When we asked the desk for help, nobody was there.

The setting was charming and the bed was large and comfy, but checking in at 4 pm felt absurd—especially since we seemed to be the only guests and the car park was empty after the golfers left. The carpet had a hole and the room was basic. With almost no staff or other guests, the place felt eerily quiet; the guy who checked us in seemed unhappy and the whole process was rushed. At checkout, no one was around and we had to leave the key at reception.
