The couple running the place were friendly, helpful and welcoming, and there were six cats to pet. They changed towels daily, offered room service, and the room had a kettle, fridge with freezer, and a breakfast buffet; eggs could be fried on request. Parking on the premises was secure. The rooms feel a bit dated, but that’s fine for a few nights.

The manager is friendly, helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was good and rooms were clean. The location is fine, close to the ocean and not far from the city center. The rooms feel a bit dated, the toilet has a faulty floating flush and the sliding door opens onto the track. The outdoor area near the rooms looks a bit neglected; a little more care could improve it. In the private parking, protected by a gate, there were three cars, but when we returned late after dinner, a client’s car was parked poorly, so we had to leave our cars on the street (later that night someone tried to pry open the rear door of a pick‑up without causing damage).

Diane and Buks run the hotel, and they’re both kind and helpful; Buks even booked a last‑minute catamaran trip for me. The spot is safe, close to the beach for epic sunsets, and restaurants are nearby. My room had plenty of space, a fridge, microwave, and smart TV, and the bed was very comfortable. The common area is nice for meals and drinks, and their cats are adorable. Breakfast was hearty enough to leave me very full. Buks also helped me re‑park my car so I didn’t have to stay up late. I’d recommend this place for a stay in Swakopmund.

The stay was excellent! The location is peaceful in a quiet neighborhood. Buks is a wonderful host who even helped arrange an amazing tour to Sandwich Harbour. Breakfast was great, too. Highly recommended! The parking is a bit tight for large pickup trucks, but we managed.
