The only payment method accepted was cash, there was no card option, the room door wouldn't lock, and the washroom door could not be locked from outside.

The hotel is close to the center, quiet, and has a pool, but the pool water was tainted with chemicals and the front desk staff were not on duty.

The location is convenient relative to the old town, but the room was shabby, dusty, and dirty, and the breakfast offered a very disappointing value for money.

The hotel is often empty, with no front‑desk staff or only a lady who is friendly but speaks only Vietnamese. The lobby looks chaotic and neglected: a mattress on the floor, blankets strewn about, half‑opened wine bottles left on the counter for the whole six‑night stay. The owner or manager can only be reached by phone because she isn’t on site, and you still need an internet‑connected phone to call her.
