The vibe was great, the spot was convenient, and the security guard—who doubled as caretaker when the managers were away—was friendly. The chef was excellent and approachable, and housekeeping did a solid job. On the downside, the room’s maintenance was lacking: the fridge was moldy and broken, the toilet seat was cracked, the TV was dead with a broken screen and lines, and the subscription claim wasn’t resolved even after I told the front‑desk lady. The paint peeled in several spots, the shower door gasket was moldy and damaged, and the front‑desk lady could have been warmer, more hospitable, and less bossy, rarely smiling.
