The spot was great, the bed was comfy, and privacy was solid; the owner was incredibly kind and the place was perfect for a single night. However, every outside noise was loud, especially from 5 am, the bathroom lacked a shower, and there were plenty of flies.

It was quiet and I was the only one there. The first time I stayed, the toilet was dirty and I had to clean it myself. I arrived from the road and wanted a hot shower, but none was available.

The host was friendly and looked after us, free bottled water was provided, and the price was low. The room was hard to dry clothes in because of high humidity, and I was on the front side of the building, so motorbike noise started early in the morning.

The place was very nice, clean, and located in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to Batur’s center.

A good spot for backpackers who are used to simple places and prefer local over tourist spots (small bathroom and Turkish toilet). There’s a small table, chair, and a comfortable bed. It’s well‑situated in Batu, and the owner is very kind and ready to help if needed.
