The room was very pretty and clean, and in Praia it even had a balcony. The staff were very kind and flexible; during my four nights in Santiago they let me move to the hostal in Tarrafal on the third night and then back to Praia for the last night. Nothing negative, everything was great.

Quiet spot, comfy beds, and a clean fridge that was almost empty. Maybe the overall cleanliness could be a touch better.

Basic hostel, but the beds are super comfy. The morning staff was friendly, let us drop off our bags, and explained the airport bus perfectly. The location is solid and you can pay with card. Not the cheapest option, though.

Great spot near the beach, bus stops, markets, and cheap restaurants all within walking distance. The kitchen is equipped, Wi‑Fi is solid for work, and the staff are friendly and chatty – it felt like home. I stayed in two rooms; the upper one was well ventilated and didn’t need the fan, but the lower room was stuffy and I struggled to sleep – an AC would help.
