The spot sits a little south of the main part of An Bang beach, which is great if you want to avoid the crowds. There are still good restaurants nearby, and a 15‑minute walk takes you to the main beach, though it was under construction for erosion control during our stay, so we couldn’t use it; it’s only a temporary issue.

The location is very clean and the staff friendly. Building work and the beach made it inaccessible, and the whole building was shaking.
The room felt cramped while the bathroom was oddly spacious, and there was no elevator, so lugging my suitcase up to the second floor was a real hassle with no staff to help. The pool was tiny and right next to the first‑floor rooms, making swimming uncomfortable, especially for women. Because of the 2025 storm the beach was gone, yet the hotel never warned us after we booked, leaving us feeling cheated and stuck in a bad situation. Naming it Resoft was a mistake from the start.

The staff are incredible and very helpful, especially with our kids and answering all our questions. Breakfast is good—try the Coconut coffee! The restaurant right across the street is amazing. Value for money is great; the beach in front had a big storm, but if you head to the north end of the road and walk onto the beach, you reach the end of An Bang main beach, full of action and sunlounges. In the opposite direction, a short bike ride brings you to a hidden beach.
