The hosts were perfect. The location was excellent—close to Hoorn and Enkhuizen yet set in a quiet countryside beside the IJsselmeer. Everything was effortless for us, and the hosts provided a delicious and varied breakfast. There was nothing to criticize.

Great atmosphere, super hosts, very tasty breakfast, free parking, free coffee and tea in the room, and a fridge. If a church bell bothers you, bring earplugs.

We stayed two weeks with our two dogs in the very spacious and well‑equipped Deluxe room. The countryside setting was perfect, just steps from the seaside that invites relaxation and a change of scenery. The Bakker couple welcomed us warmly, and the breakfasts were just exceptional in the beautiful winter garden setting. The location is about forty kilometres north of Amsterdam and served as a base for an intensive exploration of the two Dutch provinces and West Frisia, a country we loved and that deserves a visit. Nothing… just know that the village of Oosterleek offers no dining or shopping options; we were aware of this, and it didn’t bother us because, about ten kilometres away, Enkhuizen and Hoorn provide a plethora of restaurants and shops.

It’s a very nice large room with a great ambience. The breakfast was superb—rich, varied, and very tasty. The bathroom is beautiful and everything is super clean. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Nothing.

Very friendly and welcoming. Even our daughter and son‑in‑law were allowed to shower and park their campervan on the premises.
