The hotel is close to Kinabalu National Park. The room was beautiful, spacious, and had a private bathroom with a hot shower, and the surroundings were picturesque.

The staff were helpful, but it was cold at night and the room was large. There was no fan, it was hot during the day, and there was no soundproofing—you could hear people walking, talking, and even the hum of an electric plug. A worker was using a grass‑cutter machine early in the morning, so I couldn’t sleep from night to morning. The stairs were too many for an elderly person, the promised views were missing, and the plants/flowers weren’t well maintained. Even after the next guest checked out, staff made a lot of noise clearing the room, banging on the floor and walls.
