The location and ocean views were nice, and the staff were helpful but seemed a bit frustrated with what the hotel offered; for the price paid, the facilities were very poor, the room was clean but lacked the expected ambience, the breakfast was a joke and we often skipped it to eat elsewhere, and the Capri Laguna’s website photo of chairs and parasols on the beach was misleading—finding the beach was hard and it was far from a place to sit.

The beach was severely eroded by Hurricane Marie and not accessible, and patrons should have been notified—otherwise I might have stayed elsewhere—though the staff were exceptional.
