Kay's Riverview Resort - Near Baga Beach

Everyone was fine except the front desk guy. He tried to scam us by canceling our booking, offering another room, and demanding an extra 4000 rupees. I’d called him before checking in and he told me I could arrive anytime; when I got there he said the booking was canceled, even though I’d already called. He then switched off his phone while it was ringing in front of me and claimed it was a different resort number. I told him I wouldn’t pay anything, and he just ran away without even looking at me. Watch out for that man at the front office. The rest of the staff were very polite.

“Not worth the money”

The location is decent, and many spots are reachable with a longer walk, but there wasn’t much else good from the start. Unpleasantness began before we even got to the hotel. They demanded an advance payment, which I did, but because I was on a plane I couldn’t send proof. For two hours they called my friend a scammer and wasted time, insisting they never received the payment. When I landed and showed proof, they offered no apology, just said they have several bank accounts and hadn’t checked this one—note that was the only one they provided. In the rooms there were bugs everywhere, the rooms were not clean, and the plastic garden chairs were dirty. The water heater was tiny and ineffective, making a hot shower impossible.

“If you are bachelor and looking for budget hotel Keys river view will be decent choice .”

The rooms were clean and well lit. The food, however, was poor. The kitchen needs cleaning and pest control.
