The surroundings are stunning and close to Gunung Leuser Park; this time we stayed in a noticeably more comfortable bungalow than before, the staff were kind and met our needs (including a visit with Salat around Kutacane school), the food was good, and the trek was enjoyable, but the bungalows still need a refresh and the camping gear should be replaced.

The setting is beautiful, yet the bungalows need a refresh; the reception is decent and the staff are very kind, Salat is a great trek guide and friendly, but the accommodation lacked essentials like a trash can, bucket, a single faulty outlet, no curtain, no toilet paper, and only one towel for two people, and the trekking gear is showing wear with a punctured mattress and a broken tent zipper.

Wi‑Fi was not available, there were loads of insects in the accommodation, no wardrobe or ample storage space, it wasn’t clean, and the staff were not friendly.
