We loved this place; the hosts left us a sweet, delicious welcome treat! The lodge isn’t huge, but we were very comfortable in room 3, with a cozy bed and a warm, comfy atmosphere. There was a small kitchenette in the lodge, enough to prepare dinner and breakfast. The lodges are surrounded by nature, offering a beautiful view. Nothing to complain about.

The property feels very intimate with other guests, letting us meet them and hear about their adventures around Iceland.

It’s a bit out of the way but still reachable; we saw the northern lights right outside the door and from the cabin, and the beds were comfortable.

The apartment had all the essentials and was spotless. When we arrived, the owner left us two slices of cake as a welcome gift – a nice touch, especially since the cake was delicious. The space was really tiny; traveling with suitcases made it hard to figure out where to unpack and store them, and a few flies kept finding their way in, which was a bit annoying.
