The overall accommodation was great for a short stay, but the floorboards squeaked.

I never had to go through a front desk; all the check‑in was handled via email, and I received a code to unlock the door myself.
The location is second to none. Quiet at night. Temperature in the room was perfect. The Publican gave me an extra blanket on request. Very friendly staff as well. Good in the Pub downstairs is excellent
