The room was roomy and well organized, with plenty of storage, a comfy bed, a work station, a fridge, a table, and a chair that made the stay enjoyable. Security felt solid, and the room was positioned away from the traffic noise on Lat Phrao road. A small, separate clothes‑drying area and large windows overlooking a green, overgrown space added to the appeal. The shower was excellent, and both the toilet and sink were clean and functional. Getting to the markets on Lat Phrao road and the overhead railway system was straightforward, and the food there was impressive in both quality and price. The staff were all eager to help. Since the area isn’t a typical tourist spot, knowing a bit of Thai helps, or a phone with a translation feature can be useful. The chair and cushion in the room could use an upgrade, and a kettle would be handy. The communal microwave needs a base plate to work properly. These minor issues didn’t spoil my experience at Plearnwan, and I’m already planning to return in November.
