The pool was completely closed while we were there, and that detail wasn’t listed on the page.
The bathroom and shower facilities were good, but it’s a shame that Des Valley, where we wanted to go, is far away.
“A Charming Hotel with Friendly Staff”
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, where the staff went above and beyond to make our visit special. The common area was well-stocked with books and had a cozy fireplace, and the nearby stream added to the serene atmosphere. The bathroom was clean and comfortable, and we even enjoyed a lovely meal at the on-site restaurant. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our visit, but we didn't let that spoil our fun.

We chose to stay over the 4th of July weekend because the place is usually reliable. However, after visiting a few times, we were told the new pool would be open, but it wasn’t, and nobody knew who owned the property to ask about it.
“A very pleasant place to camp.”
I went to a meeting in town, dined nearby, and the campground was a pleasant walk from there. The tent sites sit on soft lawn (surprisingly) and are shaded by trees. Restrooms are clean and the shower is great. The library offered a nice refuge on a windy evening. Wi‑Fi is good, which is rare in this part of the desert. It’s quiet at night and dark enough to sleep once the solar lights at each campsite turn off. The only downside was that the warm‑spring‑fed pool was closed for maintenance when I visited; they did tell me it was closed when I booked.
