The room was nice, the air conditioning worked excellently, we coordinated arrival and departure via WhatsApp with the accommodation. The location is superb, a quiet beach, and if you want to dive it’s just a half‑block from SiriusDive!

The place is a short walk from the beach, but everything else fell apart. When we got the keys a relative of the owner was there, which was fine until we opened the door and were hit by a moldy smell and a half‑dead cockroach on the floor. The accordion‑style curtain ripped, the shower faucet broke and flooded the bathroom, and the host responded with rudeness and demanded full payment before even fixing anything.

Location was spot on – just steps from the main beach and a handful of restaurants, so we spent three days exploring on foot. The only gripe was the shower, which barely dripped, and the airport shuttle that was moved up a few hours the night before, cutting into our sleep.

Leonor was super helpful, arranging boat snorkel trips and sorting transport, and the apartment is right by the beach, a mini‑market and a taxi stand. The little kitchen and lounge felt cozy, the locals were friendly, and we loved the food at Divino Niño next door. The walk to the beach could have been cleaner and the sand area was crowded with poles, and the room was missing a bedside lamp.
