Room Selected at Check‑In accommodates two guests with one double bed, assigned at arrival and may be a higher category subject to availability. The room includes standard climate control and connectivity features typical for a two‑star independent hotel in Montréal. Bed type and exact room category are confirmed during check‑in.
The hotel was clean and quiet, though the room and bathroom were a bit small but still practical, and the wifi was excellent; the only downside was that there was no elevator and the stairs were quite steep.

The subway station and bus terminal were close and convenient, but the gaps in the room door and walls were unsettling, and the room lock was hard to close.
The room was spacious, and I really liked the window ledge, but there was an odor when we entered.
There is no thermostat in the rooms – the heating and cooling are central – and the floors are very squeaky, so you can hear people walking in the neighboring rooms.

The location was convenient for transit, but the parking that was promised was missing, the floor hadn’t been cleaned, it was extremely noisy, the curtain didn’t block out light, and it was expensive for what was offered.
