“Das erste und einzige Mal hier”
I only had to endure a single night, which is the only bright spot. The place feels rundown, smells like an old‑people home, and several steps leading to the reception are loose. They never mentioned beforehand that only cash was accepted, and the nearest cash machine is 8 km away. I was asked twice about my exact arrival time; I couldn’t give a precise answer because I was traveling with my dogs for a race and the award ceremony timing was uncertain. Yet they never told me about the cash‑only policy despite those three inquiries. The room was poorly insulated, the door hinges looked like they hadn’t been oiled in ages. When I got there at 19:00, the bathroom towels had been taken out and the glass cup in the sink still held water from the previous guest. The towels were more gray than white and the seams were already frayed. I always bring my own sheets, blanket and pillows to protect the interior, or in this case to avoid stained linens. The walls are extremely thin. I didn’t even shower because it made me sick. I’ll keep this property on my “never again” list. Oh, and the rooms are tiny, the TV was broken, as was the credit‑card reader.
