“Sadly quite run down. Fabulous large pool”

I landed in a spot with plenty of eateries nearby and a pool that felt huge, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Still, the property looked worn down, the pool was covered in slime when we arrived but the staff cleaned it right away. The air conditioning leaked all day and night even after attempts to fix it, the bathroom tap was completely broken, doors wouldn’t shut, and the linen and towels were worn out. It seemed like it had once been special, but for what we paid it feels overpriced; maybe it’ll improve in the high season.

The pool was cleaned daily and nightly, the huts were charming, the room was massive with a lovely bed and balcony, and they left toilet paper and water by the door each day. The only downside was the large bugs that flew into the shower.

The amenities were right next to the beach, the room was clean and spacious, the staff were super kind, and the food by the pool was nice.

“Nice pool”

The staff were super helpful and pleasant, the pool was nice, and the house we rented was a good size. However, there are many cracks in the house, so if you’re sensitive to bugs it’s not ideal, plus the bathroom/shower is outside where mosquitoes abound. The decorative pillows on the bed were dirty with white stains, and the bed felt as hard as a rock.
