“Pequeño paraíso”
A tiny boutique hotel tucked into a jungle setting means insects and wildlife are part of the vibe. The décor is exquisite throughout the rooms and common areas, and the pool is a dream. The staff are charming, and the food is generally good with plenty of options, plus a solid cocktail selection. It’s very close to Galle by tuk‑tuk. You can hear the temple chants a bit early in the morning, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. An uninvited insect was in the room and a few mosquitoes swarmed the pool, yet the hotel’s marshy location adds to the charm. The staff provide mosquito repellent products, which were not too plentiful but appreciated.
