The service was exceptional. We inadvertently left our phone on the premises, and the staff promptly and kindly arranged for its delivery to our subsequent destination. The team demonstrated a high degree of warmth and consideration, contributing to a highly enjoyable experience. Nothing. Thanks a million

The most authentic ryokan experience I’ve had in Japan, the place feels genuinely old yet still cozy and comfortable. The staff were wonderful and the food was incredible—so good it justifies the price. The rooms are amazing and feel so pure. Unlike many ryokans that try to modernize while staying traditional, this one stays true to its core in the best way. The only downside is the bean‑bag pillows; they’re meant to add to the authentic vibe but nobody under 65 likes them, even among Japanese, and they’re probably just nostalgic for some.
