“Gut gemeint, aber leider Abzüge in den Details”
The accommodation is nicely secluded from all the bustle, exactly what you want if you’re after peace and relaxation. Unfortunately, on the day of departure I discovered that the living room had a major moisture problem behind an unused wood stove, apparently leading to mold or about to. When I confronted the host, he said, “No, that’s not mold, it’s just moisture and normal.” I’d advise anyone to look into the topics of moisture, cold bridges in buildings, mold formation, and proper remediation. Nearby, a property hosts several dogs that often have hour‑long barking contests, which somewhat undermines the peace and relaxation.
The road to the house is winding and very narrow. Also, the gate opens only with a connection, so you need to have phone battery left late in the day. Nevertheless, the house is very pleasant, quiet, well‑equipped, and very clean.
We spent 12 days here and loved the beautiful view and the surrounding flowers and trees. We could grill and sit in the sunshine on the terrace or, when it got too hot, stay under the “blanket” of vines. We highly recommend this place!!!
The house’s typical charm and view were nice. Constant dog barking below the house and humidity inside were issues, and the jacuzzi should be included in the price.
The place feels like an authentic, beautifully furnished finca, with a stunning sea and city view that is truly breathtaking. The terrace is spacious and sunny around noon, and there’s a lower terrace that stays shaded longer. You can grill nicely in the masonry oven, and the interior is tastefully arranged with high ceilings. On the upper floor you can close the shutters to darken the room, and there’s almost no city noise, only faint distant mountain road sounds that are rarely used. The internet connection was stable and sufficient for video calls.
