It’s the cheapest accommodation 40km from Palermo, and in a city that’s one of the most overpriced in Europe, so that alone makes it worth it; I’m glad I found this place or I’d have been camping. The room was very basic with no extras, the wifi was useless so I had to use my own hotspot – that’s normal in Italy, the internet here is worse than in Africa, which is shocking; thanks to the lady for giving me a place to sleep.

The owner was super sweet, handed us the room when we arrived even though it was outside the scheduled check‑in time, the place was very clean and had all the comforts we needed, and we’ll definitely come back.
